Noosa District Orchid & Foliage Society will hold their annual Spring Orchid Show in Cooroy Memorial Hall in Maple Street on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September. Entry is $4, Friday 8.30am-4pm and Saturday 8.30am-1pm.
This show not only provides spectacular flowers and foliage displays of prize-winning plants, it’s also a great opportunity to buy a beautiful orchid, fern or foliage plant.
For just $10, you can do a hands-on orchid-potting workshop with everything supplied, including the orchid, and you get to take it home. Potting bark and fertilisers will also be on sale, along with $1 raffle tickets. (Eftpos is available.)
