Man arrested on attempted murder charge in Pomona

A 42-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another at Caloundra West on Wednesday 13 April.

At around 1pm police were called to Moreton Bay Drive, where officers located a 45-year-old man with stab wounds to his neck, back and chest.

The man was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

The 42-year-old man attended Pomona Police Station at around 11am on Thursday 14 April, where he was arrested.

He has since been charged with attempted murder and enter premises and commit indictable offence.

The Caloundra West man has been denied police bail and was set to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Saturday 16 April.
