Sunshine Coast swimmers celebrate triple selection for 2025 Tilly Cup

Sunshine Coast Grammar Swimming has announced the selection of swimming coach Charlie Barry and Club swimmers Tallow Crouch and Mason Kopff for the 2025 Swimming Queensland Tilly Cup, to be held from 19 – 21 September.

This marks a first-time selection for all three Grammar representatives, highlighting the strength and momentum of the swimming program.

Charlie Barry will serve as team coach for the prestigious event, joining a cohort of top-tier coaches from across the state. Meanwhile, Tallow and Mason will compete alongside 72 elite athletes in one of Queensland’s most anticipated junior swimming competitions.

“It is a privilege to be named Team Coach and rewarding to see two of our swimmers selected and their hard work and consistency recognised at a state level,” Mr Barry said.

Grammar’s Director of Swimming and Head Coach Luke Stafford also praised the milestone.

“We are proud to see Charlie, Tallow and Mason representing Grammar at the state level. It is an exciting moment for our club and a testament to the strength and quality within our coaching team,” Mr Stafford said.

As the team prepares for the Tilly Cup later this month, the swimming club looks forward to supporting Charlie, Tallow and Mason as they continue with their swimming careers.
