Celebrities join chorus in singing Noosa’s praises

CELEBRITIES, local business identities and famous instagrammers are among some of the special guests called on to help share the message of Noosa as a must-see holiday destination.
In a first for a tourism publication, Tourism Noosa has called on celebrities such as Today Show co-host Lisa Wilkinson to help launch the 2016/’17 Noosa Holiday Guide.
Boasting a fresh new magazine format and a handy compact size, the Holiday Guide will feature guest contributors and a new editorial format.
Tourism Noosa CEO Damien Massingham said inviting a range of guest contributors from celebrities to some of Australia’s leading social media influencers to participate in the magazine, sharing their passion for Noosa through words and images, was a first for a tourism publication.
“Personalities who love Noosa and were keen to be part of the new guide include the Today Show’s co-host Lisa Wilkinson, actor Daniel MacPherson, celebrity Chef Pete Evans and jewellery designer and co-founder of Secrets, Jane Meredith,” he said.
“We also worked with some of Australia’s leading photographers and instagrammers including Jewels Lynch and Mark Fitzpatrick.”
Contributor Lisa Wilkinson shared her 10 favourite things to do in Noosa.
“I’ve been coming to Noosa since I was 15 and have loved it as a holiday destination ever since,” she said. “So much so, my husband Peter FitzSimmons and I had our honeymoon here and always try to get back for a Noosa break at least once every year.”
Over 75,000 copies of the Noosa Holiday Guide will be distributed through Visitor Information Centres across Queensland and Australia, at the Brisbane domestic and international airports as well as in New Zealand for people planning a holiday to Noosa.
