The feast of Noosa

NOOSA Boathouse is excited to introduce chef Shane Bailey’s feast to their lunch and dinner menu.
The menu consists of a four-course feast style shared menu for $59 per person when dining with groups of four or more.
The feast menu will change weekly including a variety of dishes from the starters, entrees, mains and dessert menus to be shared around the table with friends and family. By choosing the feast, diners can enjoy a great variety of dishes and experience the best seafood, meats and fresh local produce the Noosa region has to offer.
The feast menu is perfect for group celebrations or simply a table of four. With one price per person, it takes the fuss out of group dining and everyone can experience a delicious array of Noosa Boathouse favourite dishes. Noosa Boathouse Chef Shane Bailey, who joined the restaurant team in 2013, said he loved the concept of feast dining.
“Growing up, family gatherings, dinner parties and feasts were the norm. It was simply all about the food,” he said.
That’s what he’s done with the Noosa Boathouse Feast menu – taken the fuss out of choosing what to order. You can simply sit back, enjoy the good company, while the food, wine and conversation are flowing.
Shane is passionate about all things Queensland and this is reflected throughout the bistro-style menu focusing on fresh local seafood, meats and seasonal produce.
The menu is constantly evolving to reflect the rhythm of the seasons, but the emphasis on fresh seafood and steak is constant.
A sample feast menu could include baked Queensland scallops, Cedar Street haloumi salad, Mahi Mahi with Thai yellow curry sauce, Bundy braised beef short rib, herb roasted root vegetables and coconut and kaffir lime creme brulee.
Noosa Boathouse Feast dining is available for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Sunday. Phone Noosa Boathouse on 5440 5070 to book your table.
