Family values are strangely entertaining

PREPARATIONS are well underway for Good Shepherd Lutheran College’s upcoming musical performance of The Addams Family. Each year the college produces a spectacular that not only showcases the talents of students but provides a unique opportunity for them to work on a full-scale stage production.
This musical comes as the result of six months of preparation by staff and students and is sure to be a curtain call not to be missed.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Broadway plot, The Addams Family follows the story of Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, who has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met.
If that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.
Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ’normal’ boyfriend and his parents.
The performances will take place on Friday 22 May, at 7pm, and Saturday 23 May, at 1pm and 7pm, at The J, Noosa Junction. Tickets are on sale now and available through The J website www.thej.com.au
