Electric bicycles of all shapes and sizes were available to test out at the Electric Vehicle show at Noosa on Saturday. Among them were the Vallkree bikes.
Named after the flying goddess the bikes are described by their creator Jason Sanger as a “gentleman’s cruiser”.
With a top speed of 25km/hr and the ability to run about 50km on a single charge the bikes are street legal and sleek.
Jason said the bikes retail from Thomas Surfboards for $33,000 and a hand made wooden version was available for $4,900. The bikes can be trialled at Golden Breed at the entrance to Hastings Street.
