Surf club needs your help

Volunteer lifesavers give to the community each time they patrol the beautiful and popular yet treacherous Sunshine Beach and now collectively they are asking for some help in return.
The beach is patrolled by a dedicated team of volunteers, each weekend and public holiday during the patrol season. The Sunshine Beach Supporters Club is the major contributor to the costs of more than $450,000 it costs to run its lifesaving program.
The surf club is scheduled to undergo an exciting redevelopment beginning in February 2019 and will be closed for business during construction. Throughout this time volunteers will continue to keep the beach safe, with continued patrolling, however, funding will be limited. In anticipation of the change in available funding to the Sunshine Beach Surf Lifesaving Club a series of fundraising initiatives is being undertaken within the community. The first initiative is a Sea Eagle Fundraiser. By visiting the club (or making a phone call) you can purchase a Sea Eagle for $5, $10, $20, $50 or more. Every Sea Eagle purchased will directly contribute to the funding of lifesaving operations. The Sea Eagles will also be on sale at the Noosa Today Office at Mary Street, Noosaville.
