Catching The Vibe

GET into a good vibe and catch local band, The Vibe, at Tewantin Noosa RSL tonight, from 7pm.
Featuring two of Australia’s finest musicians, Benjy and Soni Pocock, The Vibe have performed more than 200 shows Australia-wide each year.
Having carved a reputation as one of the most talented and hard-working bands currently on the Australian music scene, their commitment to quality musicianship and live performance has seen The Vibe nurture and build a diverse and loyal support base right across the country.
Individually Benjy and Soni have experience, ability and musical knowledge far beyond their years and together they create a musical experience rarely witnessed in a young band.
With the release of their debut album Walkaway, The Vibe took a quantum leap into the world of original music and now they are widely regarded as one of this country’s most entertaining and talented original music outfits.
There’s a real energy to this band. Benjy is one of Australia’s most sought-after guitarists, musicians, vocalists, and songwriters.
A renowned session musician in many studios Australia wide and playing on a collection of number one albums, he will impress you with his individually promoted vocals and harmonies to complement his outstanding instrumental talents.
Soni’s vocal talents, along with her solid bass playing are fundamental to this band’s great sound. She has a voice that can clench the heartstrings and rock the Casbah in the same breath.
Along with her talent and bubbly personality, Soni is sure to please the crowd with her versatile repertoire.
“We play real music, music that has heart, we just hope someday all our blood sweat and tears will pay off and we will be lucky enough and have the privilege to provide our fans with a lifetime of our music,“ Soni said.
You can catch The Vibe at Tewantin Noosa RSL on Thursday 18 December in the South Bar from 7pm.
