Riverside festive spirits

FOLLOWING the success of the first River Festival, the popular community event is back with live music, street food and the Stone and Wood van on the Boathouse lawn on Sunday 2 August.
Noosaville will come to life with the Noosa Boathouse Winter River Festival, and festival goers can enjoy delicious street food by Noosa Boathouse chef Shane Bailey.
Sean Fitzgerald from East of Eden will kick off at 2pm with chilled out tunes all the way from the Gold Coast followed by fantastic local talents Carl Wockner from 4pm and Mick Lindsay from 6pm.
The festival is free of charge, although optional donations can be made to Sunshine Butterflies Charity at the entrance.
Noosa Boathouse owner Phil Bradford said the festival would make the most of a fantastic location and encouraged everyone to bring their family and friends to enjoy the atmosphere and sunset on the Noosa River.
The Kayak Noosa team will be on hand with their brand new giant, family-sized stand up paddle boards to provide some great family activities.
The Noosa Boathouse Winter River Festival will be held on the lawn of the Boathouse restaurant on Sunday 2 August from 2pm.
