Kids give it everything they’ve got

HUNDREDS of mini-athletes converged on Chaplin Park on Saturday to take part in the Coates Hire Noosa Superkidz triathlon and the Tingirana Noosa Special triathlon.
The kids’ tri events are perhaps the highlight of the weekend, or certainly a must-see for any spectator, as participants run, cycle and swim their hardest as they complete the course.
Parents were seen running alongside their children as they encouraged them to ride as fast as they could, while family and carers supported and encouraged participants in the Tingirana Noosa Special triathlon.
The kids’ triathlon events are a heart-warming reminder of good sportsmanship and the importance of giving everything a go. There were no winners at the events, only participants who ran, swam and cycled with everything they had.
