Woodstock revisited

The 50 year anniversary of the legendary Woodstock music festival will be held on Saturday August 17 at the historic Cooran Hall. Celebrating  love, peace and music The Sunshine Coast Musos Collective will get together with some of the coast’s top performers to pay tribute to this great event. Andrea Kirwin will be the lead act, with others performers donating their talents including Town, Adro Kat, Caravan, Cherry Bright, The Glory Bees, Kerrie Garside, Kyle Sanderson, Herb Fenn, Boy and Eskae. Come and listen to your favourite songs from Joe Cocker, Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Arlo Guthrie, Crosby Stills and Nash, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Joan Baez and more. There will be a prize for most creative outfit so dress up in your favourite hippy flower power gear. This will be a fundraiser for charity.

Cooran has camping facilities so why not come for the weekend?

The event is on Saturday 17 August at 6pm.
