Queensland celebrates second day of zero cases across the state in the last 24 hours.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced this morning that Queensland has recorded no new cases in the last 24 hours.
“More good news for Queensland overnight we have another recording of zero (new) cases.
“Well done Queensland, this is just the news we need.” Ms Palaszczuk said.
Over 90,000 tests have been now been completed, 2,613 tests were conducted yesterday alone.
20 people in Queensland are currently in hospital for Covid-19, seven are in intensive care, and six are on ventilation.
Ms Palaszczuk said the Queensland Government is working with Queensland Health to today launch a new webpage detailing thorough data relating to Queensland cases.
“But of course, we still can’t be complacent and I want to make sure we are giving more information to Queenslanders so today I’m announcing that from lunch time we’ll actually be putting up on the Queensland Health website some heat maps from across Queensland, a regional breakdown of local government areas.”
This page will include active cases by area and their source, a breakdown of cases by age and gender, number of active and recovered cases and number of Queenslanders in self-quarantine.
This will allow Queenslanders to view information more relevant to their area.
