Noosa locals have their say

Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit, everyone’s travel plans have been thrown out the window. That’s why this week Noosa Today journalists hit the main beach boardwalk to ask locals to daydream while answering: What has been your favourite holiday destination and why?

Here’s what they had to say.

1. Wendy Bagley

“Hawaii. Our daughter was born there and we just love the culture, the people, and the food.”

2. Chrissie Schedny

“Italy has been my favourite, because of the food, the wine and the culture.”

3. Connor Schultz

“Nepal. My favourite part was trekking through the Himalayas.”

4. Christina Power

“1770 is my favourite. It’s a beautiful spot like Noosa.”

5. Tim and Anne Smith

“Switzerland. It’s beautiful, peaceful, clean and it’s just like you see in the postcards.”

6. Tyson Schefe

“Byron. It’s relaxing and there’s not many people around.”

7. Kirra Deighton

“Fraser Island. It’s just really relaxing there.”
