The much-loved Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza has joined forces with the Hinterland Carols and is set to be the biggest, best and most extravagant ever thanks to a host of local sponsors.
Save the date for Sunday 12 December from 2.30pm and make sure you are there to catch all the fun.
After being inundated by a downpour last year, organisers, Eumundi and District Historical Association decided this year they would have everyone covered with a massive marquee to cover the stage with hundreds of chairs in the viewing area ensuring that the show will go on regardless of any weather events.
Sponsored by Wythes Real Estate, the stage show entertainment has taken a step up with festive performances by Noosa District Concert Band, Eumundi State School, Coast Academy of Dramatic and Musical Arts, Good Shepherd Lutheran College, Santa’s Festive Show and the Kitty Kats, with special guest and actor, Russell Krause as MC for the night.
New to the program this year are free rides.
There will be the EDCA jumping castle, Imperial Hotel giant slide, Original Eumundi Markets Cup and Saucer ride, SPV Accounting and Nicholsons Solicitors popular roundup ride, a colourful land train and the Cooroy RSL laughing clowns with prizes for all that play.
There will also be roving performances by Little Seed Theatre Company and Nova Star Stilt walkers, festive games and food and market stalls.
To top off the night, Experience Eumundi have sponsored fireworks to light up the sky.
This project has also been proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council’s Grant Program.
Other sponsors who have helped make the Christmas magic happen include Dan Purdie MP, Noosa Hinterland Realty, Equip 4 Hire, Rotary Club of Eumundi, Eumundi Voice, CWA, Zest Factor, Woombye Dental, Ikatan Spa, Eumundi Chamber of Commerce and Zinc 96.1FM.
There is no need to pre-register to attend this year as Covid restrictions around events have relaxed and you can register on the Check in Qld App onsite on the day.
