I was born in Brisbane 16 June,1951, attended Pullenvale State School to grade 5 and then Brisbane Boys College to senior (grade 12). The two school mottos I remember were Let Honour Stainless Be and Dare To Be Different. Thereafter I attended Queensland University where I studied geology, science and commerce, finally became an articled clerk studying Solicitors Board and swapped to Barristers Board. I was admitted as a barrister December, 1975.
Since my admission I have practiced as a barrister and as a solicitor in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sydney. I have also worked at many different jobs at various times and, as a result, I believe that I have a good understanding of people from many walks of life.
For the last 12 years I have been a farmer, and truth seeker. I have had a website for over 15 years drawing attention to the debt based monetary system which has made debt slaves of practically all of humanity. (enddebtslavery.com.au)
It is my passion to bring back a government owned people’s bank to issue 100 per cent of our money supply debt free. Unlike Liberal and Labor who serve foreign bankers who issue over 98 per cent of our money supply as debt to themselves.
The original people’s bank, the then government-owned Commonwealth Bank of Australia was born in Wide Bay. It was established under the Prime Ministership of Labor’s Andrew Fisher, the first House of Representatives member for Wide Bay. Under the Governorship of Sir Denison Miller, it conferred huge benefits on the people of Australia and would have continued to do so if not for his mysterious death.
In 1921 he said: “The whole of the resources of Australia are at the back of this bank, ….Whatever the Australian people can intelligently conceive in their minds and will loyally support, that can be done.” In other words, that which is physically possible can be made financially possible by a government owned people’s bank issuing debt free money. Recently the Reserve Bank of Australia which is owned by the people of Australia proved that money can be issued without debt when they typed into a computer $130 billion, thus creating money out of thin air, and proceeded to make the money available to the government for JobSaver.
The people’s bank was killed off by Labor’s Bob Hawke when he commenced its privatisation. John Howard Liberal and Paul Keating Labor finished off the hit job. Perhaps it would be appropriate that the people’s bank be reborn in Wide Bay with the election of John Woodward, Australian Federation Party candidate for Wide Bay.
If elected I will diligently serve the people of Wide Bay and work towards putting an end to the debt based monetary system.
I am married with two children and live at Theebine a small rural community about 30 minutes north west of Gympie and at the geographical centre of the Wide Bay electorate.
