A 22-year-old Gympie man has died following a single vehicle crash at Lake Macdonald, on the Sunshine Coast on 24 August.
Initial investigations indicate at approximately 10.30pm on Cooroy Noosa Road his car has left the roadway and crashed into a power pole and a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man, died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
