Cooroy golf club flood recovery

Flood washed out the bridge on the sixth hole.

The Cooroy Golf Club now has a new bridge thanks to the floods earlier in the year.

Six Mile Creek runs through the golf course and earlier in the year caused considerable damage and one consequence was the washing away of the bridge on the creek crossing on the sixth hole.

It’s taken a long time to replace but is now completed thanks to some dedicated volunteers particularly Grant, Bob and and our greens superintendent Warren.

The Queensland Government Special Disaster Assistance Recovery Grant also provided the funds. Thanks also go to local contractors including Roberts Bros and suppliers Cooroy Landscape Supplies.
