Pony heaven at Tewantin Noosa Pony Club

Noosa is not just about beaches and great food. It is also home to a thriving equine community who enjoy getting out with their horses on a regular basis.

Tewantin Noosa Pony Club is affiliated with Pony Club Queensland and offers a fun environment for people of all ages to enjoy their horses.

The Pony Club was started in 1981 when the club was gifted seven acres next to the Tewantin Golf Club.

Over the years Tewantin Noosa members have worked hard to turn it from a rough bush block into the beautiful grounds they are today.

Club members enjoy two musters each month, having fun with their horses, learning new skills, and making new friends.

The club caters for riders of all ages and people of all riding abilities are encouraged to come along. They have members as young as three years old and just learning to ride, through to competent riders competing at local and state levels as well as senior riders who just enjoy spending time with other like- people.

Pony Club offers a variety of fun activities including games, sporting, horsemanship, jumping, poles, flatwork, trail, cross country – the priority is having fun and learning new skills – all in a safe environment with accredited coaches.

If you have a horse and want to enjoy some fun with other riders at this friendly, local club, Tewantin Noosa Pony Club is welcoming anyone wishing to give Pony Club a go on Sunday 22 January for a come and try day.
