A Sunshine Coast woman who has been playing her special numbers for ‘what feels like a thousand years’ has been left shocked after they delivered her more than $1.8 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto Superdraw.
The Queensland player held one of the 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4409, drawn Saturday 21 October and took home $1,818,181.82.
“It all feels so surreal!” the winning woman exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm her win.
“I think I blacked out. I pulled the ticket up and my mind just went into overdrive.
“I’ve never seen so many numbers in sequence.
“It hasn’t quite sunk in yet that I’ve won so much money and I feel like I’m walking around in a dream.
“But honestly, I’m walking on sunshine.
“These have been my numbers for what feels like a thousand years, and I became so used to bagging small wins.
“It’s such a shock but thank god I stuck with these numbers of mine.
“I’ll park my money for about six months and then I’ll figure out what I want to do.
“The world is my oyster and I’m so grateful.”
The winning entry was purchased at TSG Chancellor Park, Shop 7 Chancellor Park Market Place, 18 University Way, Sippy Downs.
The TSG Chancellor Park team said they were over the moon having sold a division one winning entry and wished their winner all the best for the future.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4409 on 21 October were 30, 29, 7, 2, 31 and 12, while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 33.
