The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a teenage boy to hospital on Tuesday afternoon after a collision between a bicycle and motorcycle in the Glass House Mountains.
The rescue helicopter was tasked at 3.23pm on 14 January and landed in a paddock near the incident.
The LifeFlight critical care doctor worked with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to stablise the boy who was riding the bicycle.
He was treated for severe head injuries and flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital.
