Beers, Boots & BBQ Festival set for the Sunshine Coast

This Easter Sunday, the Sunshine Coast is set to come alive with the sound of country music, the smell of slow-cooked barbecue, and the buzz of family fun as Beers, Boots & BBQ Festival makes its debut at The Station in Birtinya.

Kicking off the day is the Easter Morning Extravaganza, a free-entry event running from 11am to 2:30pm, designed to bring the community together in celebration.

Perfect for families, the morning will feature an exciting Easter Egg Hunt, creative kids’ activities, and face painting to keep the little ones smiling. Parents can browse the bustling country markets, showcasing everything from handmade goods and unique accessories to homewares and boutique fashion.

And when it’s time to eat, you’ll be spoiled for choice with a selection of local food trucks serving up delicious dishes, including classic low and slow barbecue.

Adults can enjoy beer tastings from a range of local craft brewers, while The Station’s bar and café will be open to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day.

From 3pm onward, a ticket is required to remain in the venue as the official Beers, Boots & BBQ Festival kicks off.

As the afternoon rolls in, festivalgoers will swap Easter eggs for boots and beers as the main event begins.

Headlining the festival is none other than Australian country music icon Lee Kernaghan, bringing his legendary catalogue of hits and high-energy stage presence to the Sunshine Coast.

With a career spanning decades and multiple ARIA and Golden Guitar Awards under his belt, Kernaghan’s performance promises to be a highlight of the Easter long weekend.

He’ll be joined on stage by a powerhouse lineup of Australian country talent including Max Jackson, Andrew Swift, Billy Gudgeon, and Phoebe Rose — offering a full afternoon and evening of music that’ll have you singing, dancing, and soaking in the good vibes.

Of course, no Aussie festival is complete without great food and drink.

Attendees can look forward to a mouthwatering array of authentic American-style BBQ, from smoky brisket to fall-off-the-bone ribs, along with a wide variety of craft beers from local and national breweries. Whether you’re coming for the tunes, the tucker, or the top-notch beer, there’s something for everyone at Beers, Boots & BBQ.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Sunshine Coast and landing on the final weekend of the Easter school holidays, this festival is the perfect way to wrap up the break with family and friends.

Tickets for Beers, Boots & BBQ are on sale now. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.thestationsc.com.au
