A teenage girl has been airlifted to hospital after a boating accident near K’gari.
The Bundaberg LifeFlight aeromedical crew was tasked to K’Gari at 10.56am, a spokesperson said.
The helicopter landed on the beach and the LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS paramedic treated the girl for lacerations.
The spokesperson said it was believed she was on a small, rubber tender from a nearby catamaran when she was hit by a propeller.
She was airlifted to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
