Peregian Beach woman bursts into laughter after winning $200,000

A Peregian Beach woman has erupted into bursts of laughter upon discovering she’d scored $200,000 in a Lucky Lotteries draw.

The Sunshine Coast resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1704, drawn Wednesday 11 June.

She looks forward to a tidy $200,000.

The cheery winner confessed she had no idea there was a Lucky Lotteries draw yesterday and was completely blindsided by the winning news.

“It’s such wonderful news,” she laughed when an official from The Lott revealed her prize.

“I didn’t even know there was a Lucky Lotteries draw today.

“It was very unexpected news, and I haven’t stopped laughing since.

“When I first saw I had a missed email from The Lott, I thought it was a scam.

“It wasn’t until I logged into my online account and checked my ticket that I saw the win.

“I yelled out to my husband and told him to sit down, I said, ‘You have to take a look at this!’.

“We both shed a few tears.”

With a $200,000 boost heading her way, the gleeful woman shared she would start by celebrating her newfound treasure in style.

“I think I might have to have a little bubble. It would be rude not to celebrate,” she said.

“It’s going to help us so much. It will go a long way towards our mortgage.”
