As part of NAIDOC Week 2025, The Station is hosting a celebration of First Nations voices, talent and culture.
The event features a headline performance by J-MILLA, one of Australia’s most exciting and respected First Nations hip hop artists.
J-MILLA is a Marranungu rapper from Darwin, known for blending hard-hitting social commentary with high-energy beats. From breaking cycles of trauma to mentoring remote youth, his music uplifts mob and speaks truth. With national awards, viral tracks, and over 300k followers, he’s a powerful force in Blak music today.
Also joining the epic celebration to perform is Big Noyz, Byrd of Paradyse, Sunrise Dance Troupe and more!
Adding to the excitement of the day, Deadly Choices Ambassadors Steve Renouf, Preston Campbell, Petero Civoniceva, Scott Prince, Tallisha Harden, and Torita Blake Isaac will be in attendance for the day’s festivities to meet and greet the audience!
This year’s NAIDOC Week theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” recognises the strength of young Indigenous leaders and creatives. This event reflects that spirit with a lineup that showcases emerging and established Blak artists making their mark through music and storytelling.
Held on Kabi Kabi Country, this is a community event that welcomes everyone to come together in respect, celebration and solidarity. Expect a night of powerful performances, cultural pride, and strong community energy. This event is all-ages and open to all who want to support and celebrate First Nations culture during NAIDOC Week.
The poster background artwork is by Billy Reynolds, a proud Dharawal/Yuin man titled Water Dreaming. The Artwork tells the story of water as life, spirit, and legacy adds such depth to this piece. The circles representing gathering places, the flowing songlines it’s more than design, it’s culture in motion.

Through the Dreaming, ancestors showed people where to find water, how to respect it, and how to pass that knowledge on. This piece honours that unbroken line from the old people to the next generation, walking proud in culture, carrying vision, and building legacy. The story still flows. The Dreaming still lives.
