We will always argue about the best decade for popular music – because we are all young once, and go through that oh-so-intense phase of first love, teenage angst and ultra-special moments, with the music of the time as the soundtrack.
And as soon as we hear it, it takes us back, no matter what era.
The five-piece Claptomaniacs band grew up in the ’70s and celebrate their own early years by playing for those who grew up with them.
And that’s what the five-piece band will be doing on Saturday August 30, from 7.45pm, at Tewantin Noosa RSL.
The band will play three sets of transatlantic hits from the ’70s, plus a handful from the ’60s and ’80s, including by The Doobie Brothers, Santana, Travelling Wilburys, Steely Dan, Steve Miller Band, Toto, Joe Cocker and many more.
