Salty Saturdays return to Coolum this weekend supporting cures for kids

Coolum Beach is set to come alive this weekend with the long-awaited return of Salty Saturdays Coolum Beach — the much-loved community event that brings together all the festival feels (minus the mud!) for an afternoon of sunshine, great food, and free live entertainment.

Salty Saturdays Coolum Beach will take place this Saturday, 11 October from 3pm–8pm in Jack Morgan Park, right in the heart of Coolum.

Locals and visitors alike are invited to gather their crew, pack a picnic blanket, and enjoy a relaxed evening filled with FREE live music, dancing, delicious street food, market stalls, lawn games, kids’ activities, and plenty of family-friendly fun as the sun sets over the beach.

“Salty Saturdays is the perfect way to kick back, enjoy some great food and live tunes, and make the most of our beautiful coastal evenings.” said Lea Taylor, from event architects Sunshine Coast Music and Events.

Whether you’re there for the tunes, the eats, or the vibes, Salty Saturdays promises a sunset session like no other.

This event will bring together locals and visitors each month, for a family-friendly evening of music, connection and purpose, all in support of a life-changing gene therapy clinical trial for Coolum 6-year-old Tallulah Moon and children like her living with SPG56, a rare neurodegenerative disease.

Sunshine Coast Music and Events recently supported the foundation with their Moon Walk for – Our Moon’s Mission.
