Noosa oceanfront property claims Queensland’s top sale

An oceanfront house at Sunrise Beach has claimed the top residential sale for the year in Queensland.

The six-bedroom, six-bathroom, two-car house with pool at 7/56 David Low Way is the latest in a string of high-end property sales Noosa principal Tom Offermann has achieved in a career spanning almost 40 years.

The $28.5m sale follows a private auction on Saturday, 6 December, with Tom Offermann and Cameron Urquhart as marketing agents.

It eclipses the reported beachfront Gold Coast sale of $27.5m for a house at 127 Hedges Ave, Mermaid Beach.

Noosa’s ability to attract high-net worth buyers saw Adrian Reed of Reed & Co negotiate the sale of 29 Cooran Ct, Noosa Heads, earlier this year for $26.8m to Brisbane buyers.

The sale of Maravilla at Sunrise Beach caps another extraordinary year of results for clients at Tom Offermann Real Estate,’ Mr Offerm, ann said.

“What better way to put the star on the real estate Christmas tree than announcing the successful sale of Maravilla.

“It is a fitting finale to a year defined by trust, teamwork and outstanding outcomes for our clients.

“It’s a powerful reminder that when quality meets experience, great things happen.”

Tom Offermann’s first sale in 1986 after moving to Noosa from Brisbane was a $31,200 three-bedroom apartment.

Maravilla is a design statement like no other on Noosa’s eastern seaboard. Enriched with an extensive curated art collection, exclusive luxury furniture, bespoke accessories and artifacts, it is both new and breathtaking.

There are sweeping, uncompromised eagle’s eye views from Lions Head in the Noosa National Park to the north, Mooloolaba and beyond to the south.

The oceanfront position offers both the sight and sound of water, just footsteps along a private path to ocean swells and the foreshore.

The brilliant quality of the ocean is matched by the interior – fresh, vivacious, effortlessly cool yet quintessentially mid-century modern as tomorrow.

Double-height spaces form the heart of the home, with an alfresco that extends towards the sand.

A dramatic foyer includes lofty, pitched ceilings, and curvaceous staircase with a Bomma handcrafted pebble centerpiece.

Highly textural pieces and numerous original works from renowned Australian artists such as John Maitland, Graham Fransella, Janine Riches, Wayne Eager, David Bromley grace the polished rendered walls.

Boundless living and dining spaces blend in with the open-plan layout, filled with exclusive designer sofas and armchairs, textile accents, original artworks and artifacts.

Disappearing walls of glass across, almost the width the residence, invite natural light onto the seemingly endless marble, while blurring the lines to expansive terraces.

The luminescent pool and spa with lavish custom day beds seemingly float over the beach and the ocean.

On the lower ground floor there is space for a cinema experience, a game of pool, a serious wine bar and temperature-controlled cellars, plus a mirror-walled gymnasium, change room, full size spa as well as an ice bath beside the five-seat infrared sauna.

Forget the alarm clock at Maravilla and wake up to the sound of waves breaking on the shore.
