Coveted Bronze Choice Award for Tewantin Travel

Tewantin Travel agency Tewantin Travel has been recognised with one of the Australian travel industry’s most respected awards.

The agency was one of just 10 Australian travel agencies presented with a Bronze Choice Award during a ceremony held November in Melbourne.

The event was attended by leaders of the Australian travel industry and members of Travellers Choice – an exclusive collection of leading independently-owned travel agencies.

Travellers Choice Managing Director Christian Hunter said Bronze Choice Award winning agencies demonstrated outstanding levels of travel expertise, customer service and business acumen.

“Tewantin Travel combines extensive hands-on travel knowledge and skills with a genuine understanding of its local community and the unique needs of its clients.” Hunter said.

Owner/Manager Cathy Hewett said the award was a team effort.

“Every member of our agency is committed to using their professional expertise and personal experience to find the best travel solutions for our customers,” Hewett said.

As a Bronze Choice Award winner, Tewantin Travel receives a prize grant of $750 and has won a spot on one of three exclusive journeys, including a luxurious African odyssey to exotic Zanzibar and the iconic Masai Mara, a seven-day tour of Iceland’s awe-inspiring landscapes and vibrant culture during aurora season or an Alaskan cruise to ports like Sitka and Juneau as well as cruising the spectacular Dawes Glacier and Endicott Arm.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to ensure our agency’s clients continue to benefit from the most up-to-date, first-hand knowledge of popular and emerging holiday destinations for Australian travellers,” said Hewett.
