Bonne nouvelle!

The Summer French Film Festival is coming this month to the Sunshine Coast. The perfect opportunity for you to make learning French one of your New Year Resolutions!

You can bask in a French atmosphere by joining one of our classes in Term One.

You will be learning French from the most renowned and respected organisation in the world!

The Alliance Française de la Sunshine Coast is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture.

It is part of the world’s largest network for teaching French with more than 500,000 students in 135 countries.

They offer Adult classes in Noosa and in Mountain Creek for all levels from complete beginners to advanced students.

They also have popular children’s classes in Nambour (after school) where the little ones can develop a love for the French language through games, interactive activities and story telling.

Classes run for 10 weeks per term, four terms per year. Term One starts on 19 January. All tuition is delivered by qualified teachers.

Also available is French private tuition in-person or via Zoom which enables you to study at your own pace and which is ideal for exam preparation such as DELF/DALF exams if you are planning relocation or work in France or TEF/TCF exams for Canada.

Whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced French speaker, we’ll encourage you to practice and improve your oral skills (understanding and speaking) through a variety of ways and themes.

Join the classes and share a common love for French language and culture.

All classes are backed by a Learning Management Platform made available free of charge to all students allowing access to class documents, homework and interaction with the teacher and fellow students outside class times.

The Alliance Française de la Sunshine Coast also organises a range of French cultural events throughout the year such as the French Film Festival, Bastille Day, monthly cafe conversations, Pétanque, Déjeuners and much more…

They also organise an Immersion Program for members and students in New-Caledonia each year.

Bienvenue 2026, the perfect year to French Up your life!
