Police took a man into custody following unconfirmed reports of shots fired in Cooroibah on Thursday 16 January.
Police were called to McKinnon Drive just before 10am on Thursday, and cordoned off the area as a precaution.
Multiple police cars and paramedics attended the area and the road was closed for several hours.
Police said no members of the public were injured, and investigations were continuing.
