Claptomaniacs at Marina Bar

Five-piece northern Coast band The Claptomaniacs are back at the Marina Bar in Noosa Marina this Friday (February 20), from 6-9pm.

It’s the band’s first time back at the Marina since their huge full-house performance there on New Year’s Eve, and they’re keen to get the dance floor just as busy again.

If you don’t know, the band plays a repertoire of late 60s – late 80s era hits by the likes of Huey Lewis & the News, Billy Joel, Santana, Robert Palmer, the Travelling Wilburys, Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers, Joe Cocker and so many more transatlantic stars. Lead singer Ken Gamble does Cocker like you wouldn’t believe.

And if you like authenticity, with real instruments and no backing tracks, the Claptomaniacs are one of the tightest groups of professional musos you will find anywhere.

The Marina Bar will offer their usual range of food, cocktails and tricks, along with the gorgeous evening views at Noosa River; it’s really the best semi-outdoors live music venue in Noosa!

See you on Friday!
