Community choir comes to Noosa

A community choir from Brisbane, praised for delivering connection, creativity and pure joy will be launching in Noosa next month.

Cheep Trill, founded in 2014 by Emma Dean and known across Brisbane for its uplifting performances and inclusive approach to group singing, will be offering adults aged 18 and over the opportunity to experience expertly led choir sessions in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment.

Founded on the belief that singing should be accessible, empowering and fun, Cheep Trill has built a strong reputation in Brisbane for creating musical spaces where people of all experience levels feel supported and inspired. Now, Noosa residents can be part of that same joyful movement.

Unlike traditional audition-based choirs, Cheep Trill focuses on participation and community. There are no intimidating expectations – just an invitation to show up, use your voice, and be part of something bigger.

The Noosa choir will focus on community and feature professionally directed rehearsals with a conductor and piano accompanist, a welcoming environment for beginners through to experienced singers, a contemporary, uplifting repertoire and opportunities to perform.

“Cheep Trill is about more than singing – it’s about belonging,” says Operations Manager, Corinne Buzianczuk. “We create spaces where people can grow in confidence, make new friends, and experience the powerful wellbeing benefits of singing together.”

Research continues to show that group singing can reduce stress, improve mood, and strengthen social bonds – something many locals are seeking in today’s world where social isolation is a growing issue.

Whether you’ve sung in choirs for years, haven’t sung since school, or have never sung before, Cheep Trill Noosa welcomes anyone over 18 who simply enjoys music and wants to be part of a vibrant, supportive group.

If you’re interested in giving it a go – you can register for a free trial rehearsal on Tuesday 7 April at 6.30pm in the Hall at Noosa Baptist Church in Noosaville. For more information or to register your interest, visit www.CheepTrill.com/noosa
