International Comedy Fest in Noosa

Just as the curtains close on the funniest month of the year in Melbourne, the Festival’s most loved and laughed at comedians will pack their bags and hit the road for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, home-delivering hot and tasty comedic treats right around Australia.

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow will bring the funny to The J Theatre in Noosa Junction on Wednesday 15 May at 7.30pm.

The line-up this year at The J includes Daniel Connell (MC) John Hastings (Canada) Josh Earl, Mel Buttle and Rahul Subramanian (India).

Featuring fantastic funny makers from Australia and beyond, the Roadshow travels across 88 Australian towns, presenting 99 performances of sketch, stand-up, satire, silliness and song across 11 weeks.

Previous Roadshow casts have introduced audiences to the likes of Celia Pacquola, Luke McGregor, Dave Hughes, Peter Hellier, Nazeem Hussain, The Pajama Men (USA), Wil Sylvince (USA), Hannah Gadsby and many more big names you will recognise from radio and the telly.

For 20 years this roving tour-de-comedy has visited towns and cities around Australia, from Broome to Ballarat, Tasmania to the Territories and the journey doesn’t end there either, with the Roadshow taking its talent abroad with International tour dates across Hong Kong, Singapore, India and Malaysia to follow.

Tickets can be purchased for $49-adults and $45-concession at www.thej.com.au or call 5329 6560.
