Program revealed for Noosa Jazz Party in August

Noosa’s best night out is back by popular request with Noosa Heads Jazz Club presenting Home Brew Jazz Band at The J Noosa on Saturday 13 July from 7.30pm.The Home Brew Jazz Band is a collective of Jazz players showcasing some of the local musicians. The band features John Withers, who’s music career spans a lifetime of playing. With other staunch local band members as well, Greg Garrett an accomplished musician, plays guitar and banjo however will be featured on his alternate instrument playing drums. Paul Williams is a long time supporter of the club and now from Peregian Beach, has been an Australian and International performer his whole life.

Talented trumpet player Garry Buckley is a new local addition to The Jazz Factory. Garry hails from Buderim. He is a multi instrumentalist with a fine voice so expect a few songs as well. Jo Bloomfield is one of Australia’s most talented pianists and although from the North side of Brisbane along with trombonist Mike Hawthone, she appears regularly each year. Great vocalist Jo Simon will also be in attendance.Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for guests. For more information call 54472229.
