Books fuel Rotary projects

Volunteer John Hilton sets out more books for buyers.

The annual Rotary Noosa Daybreak book fest was hailed a huge success.

Each day of the three day event a steady stream of book hunters filed into the Noosa Leisure Centre in search of books from fiction, biography and reference to cooking, history and travel as well as a selection of children’s books.

There were 30,000 books donated, many from the State and Noosa libraries, to the fundraising event and a raffle held with funds raised to be donated to benefit mental health research and suicide prevention.
