The Sounds Like Summer Fest continues at Noosa Junction with art, music and games to be enjoyed through performances and workshops until 20 January.Chill out with some weekend games of CLO Laneway Bowls (opposite Coles) at 12 Lanyana Way, Giant Chess, Jenga and Quoits on the Cactus Lane lawn at 10 Lanyana Way andGiant 4×4, Jenga and Quoits in Arcadia Street on Fridays and Saturdays.Get into our village vibe with street performers Karen Thomsen, Morgan Music, Pete Allen, Daryl James and Los Amigos on Friday evenings from 5pm and Saturday mornings and look out for the pop-up performances.
The Summer Twilight Market will be on Friday 18 January with local foodies, artisan stall and live music mixing it with local traders. Come along and support the local precinct.
If budding young artists 10 years and over are looking for something to do beyond the beach they can come along to the Street Art Workshop on 14 January from 9.30-11.30am with talented muralists, Alison Mooney and David Houghton.
Participants will work on a huge 7m x 4m mural and learn technical skills such as scaling a design, laying out the sketch and painting first layers.
