All the fun of the fair

The wait for the St Thomas More Primary School Fete is almost over with the fun-filled event coming up on Saturday 17 August from 9am-3pm.

The well-loved annual fete is attended by thousands of locals who browse the wide range of handmade treats and food stalls at its 40 stalls and enjoy amazing rides including the Sizzler, Dodgems, Giant Slide, Mini Jeeps, Rock Wall and the Carousel.

Enjoy lunch from the authentic Curry Hut, Aussie BBQ, a hot dog, sushi or tasty salads or have a morning tea with a treat. For the kids there are a range of activities including the petting zoo, arts and crafts, show bags, games, face painting and hair braids. And the silent auction will have a wonderful collection of donated prizes. New to the fete this year is a Footy Handball Competition and our first Photography Competition will also be on display where students tackled the theme of “Simplicity”.

The school band and school choir will be performing, supported by St Teresa’s Catholic College, as well as students in our “So You Think You Can Perform” segment. The afternoon will see demonstrations and performances from Sunshine Coast Martial Art School, Crossfit 4566 Kids and Miss Grace’s Dance Academy.

Entry to the fete is free, so come along to St Thomas More primary school on Ben Lexcen Drive. Sunshine Beach.
