Jazz singer Anna Quayle set to perform at Rococo Bistro & Bar

Plan B Modern Jazz Quartet has announced that singer Anna Quayle will be making her public debut appearance at Rococo Bistro & Bar on Saturday 20 July from 2:30pm-5:30pm, as part of a free impromptu Noosa Alive! event.

Anna is the principal of Coast Academy of Song and Dance established it in 2014, returned to the Sunshine Coast after nine years of performing professionally in Musical Theatre and Cabaret overseas.

Anna worked as a singer/dancer and lead singer on cruise ships, performed in musicals, pantomimes, and touring cabaret shows in England and Ireland. She also appeared in international TV commercials, and most recently played the lead in two musical theatre productions in Tokyo Disneyland.

Anna studied ‘Music and Theatre’ in the University of Wollongong specialising in classical singing, before moving to London to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional performer.

In between performance contracts Anna worked as a freelance Ballet and Musical Theatre teacher, and whilst in London gained her Ballet Teaching Diploma from the ‘British Ballet Organisation’ where she also taught.

Anna is now broadening her musical horizons by joining Noosa’s own Plan B Modern Jazz Quartet as their jazz vocalist. Anna can be construed as: “The little woman with the big voice”.

So, head to the Rococo Bistro & Bar on Saturday 20 July to enjoy a relaxing afternoon listening to some of the songs she sings from the Great American Songbook.
