Peregian carols almost here

The wait is almost over til the legendary Peregian Beach Carols, presented by Neller Real Estate where Santa skydives onto the beach.

The Coast’s most-loved and longest-running Christmas Carols returns for its 61st year on Wednesday 17 December, 3-8pm at Peregian Park, near Peregian Beach Surf Club, bringing festive cheer and one very adventurous Santa.

This seaside Christmas tradition draws thousands of families, friends and holidaymakers to celebrate the season with live music, community joy and a spectacular sky-diving Santa landing right on the beach — a moment that has become pure Sunshine Coast Christmas legend. Yes, Santa really does drop from the sky.

Getting there is easy with Free Shuttle Buses – proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council.

Buses run on a continuous loop between 3pm and 9pm to and from the event (approximately 30 mins) running from Peregian Springs State School to Peregian Park; as well as to and from Peregian Breeze – adjacent to the shopping centre.

The event is proudly supported by Noosa Council – who also offer free holiday bus services from Noosa on Route 064 via Marcus Beach to the event.

Please keep off the dunes to protect our nesting turtles and listen to announcements during Santa’s skydiving arrival. Our Surf Lifesavers are there to keep everyone safe including our turtles.

This year’s Carols will feature a huge line up of popular local talent with headliners including DJ Raw Ordio, DJ Soul Fusion, Nana’s Pie Band, Coastal Blues, Hannah Rose, Skillz FJ, Soula, Richie Music, Rudi & Jacob, Sunshine Coast Show Choir, plus heart-warming local performances from: Peregian Beach Community Kindergarten, Studio 4 Dance, Goat Track Theatre’s mischievous Elves. And when the sun sets…. the best Christmas rave finalé

This year’s Carols includes family fun for everyone including: Kids inflatables & entertainment zone, Free face painting, Jumping castle, delicious gourmet food trucks, Artisan Christmas market stalls, Sky-diving Santa around 6pm (weather-permitting).

Bring your picnic rug, your holiday cheer and and wear your best Christmas costumes.

Cost: $20 per family – $10 per individual, includes all entertainment.
