Lifestyle Expo empowers women

The annual Women’s Lifestyle Expo will be taking place on Friday 10 September at the scenic Sunshine Coast Turf Club.

Despite the setbacks and unpredictability of the Covid-19 restrictions, Alexandra Kupka, family lawyer and business owner, is determined to host this significant event for the Sunshine Coast community.

Ms Kupka is passionate about women in business and this event brings the community together to empower women of all ages and backgrounds.

This year will mark the 13th annual Expo and each year it showcases the many wonderful businesses and entrepreneurs the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Ms Kupka has been successfully hosting this event since 2018.

“This event provides the opportunity for local businesses to display their products and services, it is not only a chance for business owners to gain crucial brand exposure but also for the community to enjoy a fun and educational event,” Ms Kupka said.

The Expo will feature an array of prominent Sunshine Coast businesses from health and beauty to finance and business advisories.

Some of the current exhibitors include, Outfit of the Day, Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network, Healing from the Heart, Nu Skin plus many more.

Now, more than ever, it is essential the community supports local businesses as the Sunshine Coast continues to face hardships and uncertainty from recent lockdowns.

Ms Kupka explained like many other business owners the Covid restrictions has brought various challenges to the process of organising an event.

“This year has thrown us many hurdles, as it has for many people, but my team and I are committed to hosting this event to reinforce the significance of the community supporting local businesses,” she said.

The Expo will be held outdoors in an undercover area, with social distancing and Covid Safe measures in place such as QR Codes and sanitising stations.

The event is free to the public and runs from 12pm to 6pm. Food and drinks will be available as well as live music from local artists.
