Rock ‘n’ Roll to support nurses

The Rotary Club of Eumundi is taking the lead on one of the most significant fundraisers for hospices serving the community. This year’s “Eumundi Rotary Long Lunch” will be held on Sunday 31 March with funds raised going towards supporting the Nursing Care at Katie Rose Cottage Hospice.

The lunch will commence at 11am under the fig trees of the famous Original Eumundi Markets. With a theme of “Rock and Roll”, the venue will be brightly decorated with food to match. The Rotary bar will be open with complimentary bubbles on arrival.

The day will be full of entertainment, with artists including The Rock and Roll Boys, Melissa Isles and Bobby Soxers, all introduced by MC Dean Vegas.

There will be door and raffle prizes and auctions to further support this fundraising event.

Tickets are $75 per person. The funds raised will help continue the outstanding work of providing nursing care and support to the terminally ill. Tables may be booked for six or more people but singles and couples are very welcome and will be seated with new friends.

For further event information and assistance with ticketing is call Tania Broadbent on 0407 020 473 or email tania.watson@bigpond.com.
