We all know that keeping our brains alert and our bodies active is a major contribution to healthy aging. But learning doesn’t have to be serious and solitary – it can be shared with others and be playful and fun. During Seniors Week, 19th – 23rd August, the Pomona & District Community House is inviting seniors to come and try different skills – from exploring a new language to learning a new craft.
It will all be happening in the Lawson Shed, adjacent to the Pomona Community House. All classes are FREE, but please check when booking about items to bring. Bookings are essential as places for some classes are strictly limited. Call 5485 2427 to reserve a place. See event timetable below.
