Look out for the Super Rig at the Car Show

For the first time ever, the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club is excited to announce the latest trade display addition at the Father’s Day Car Show from long time car club sponsor, Shannons Insurance.

Shannons will be bringing the Super Rig to entertain and delight the crowds.

So, what is it? It’s a transformation of a semi trailer to unfold and open up into a massive pop up entertainment and information centre, a Super Automotive Expo.

The big truck encompasses large plasma screens, driving simulators, Sony PlayStation gaming consoles, automotive memorabilia displays and, of course, the Shannons Goggomobil.

Another big truck on display will be the Tinbeerwah Rural Fire Services, manned by dedicated volunteers who provide an invaluable service to the hinterland area.

There will be plenty of trade stands, food stalls, automotive products and lots of fabulous classic cars. Trophies and prizes to be won, voted for by the People’s Choice.

Main sponsor of the show is Laguna Real Estate who will be on site to delight the young visitors with games, competitions and face painting.

Best Car in Show wins a valuable Swiss watch donated by Priest Jewellers from Noosa Civic who will also have a collection of timepieces for sale.

Plenty of free parking available via Shields St (Pirates Rugby entrance) or via McKinnon Drive, around the netball and tennis courts. Visitor gates at each location open at 9.30am with trophies being awarded from around 1.30pm.

Adults $12 entry. No dogs allowed.
