Coastline claims success once again

A Sunshine Coast dealership has received the highest honour at the BMW Dealer of the Year Awards, maintaining position as most awarded dealership in Australia.

BMW Group proudly celebrated its 49-dealers across the country at an award ceremony in Sydney, recognising their outstanding performance in 2024, which secured BMW as the best-selling premium automotive brand in Australia for the second consecutive year.

The MINI brand also celebrated several successes from 2024, undergoing its most extensive transformation in its 66-year history with a completely new product portfolio focused on innovative design, technology and sustainability.

Coastline MINI Garage claimed the pinnacle award on the night – winning Australia’s Metro Dealership of the Year for 2024. This great success for the Sunshine Coast dealership comes just days after Coastline MINI’s Sales manager, Mark Costi, was awarded number one MINI Metro Sales Manager in Australia.

Coastline BMW maintained a podium placement in the 2024 awards, with Wolfgang Buechel, CEO of BMW Group Australia, praising local dealerships, saying, “Our independently owned dealers have once again demonstrated their commitment to excellence, playing a pivotal role in BMW maintaining its leadership position.”

“We extend our deepest gratitude to each dealership and their staff for their dedication and exceptional performance.”

Coastline MINI Garage dealer principal Russel Tolcher said, “I’m so proud of the Coastline team, especially Mark Costi who has led our dealership to yet another national trophy.”

“I’d like to thank all of our staff, their families and our loyal customers for their ongoing support through sales, parts and service.

“We are more than just a dealership—we are a community of 70 passionate automotive enthusiasts. With such a strong start to 2025, we are motivated and excited for the year ahead.”

Based in Currimundi, Coastline MINI Garage is the home of MINI on the Sunshine Coast. Coastline MINI Garage offers the heart of MINI in both professional sales and quality MINI service.
