Gorgeous recycled rugs at Weaver Green

Gateway Drive is the home of Weaver Green Australia, a company selling handwoven rugs and soft furnishings made entirely from recycled plastic bottles.

Originating in Devon in the UK, Weaver Green was brought to Australia by local couple Rupert and Nikki.

They fell in love with the brand’s beautiful designs, and were excited by the products suitability for the Australian climate.

Handwoven by fairly paid artisans in India, the designs reflect Scandinavian, African and Eastern influences, combining soft yellows, reds, blues and greys with natural tones to make timeless products that look great throughout the home. All their textiles have the look and feel of wool, cotton or linen, but contain up to 5400 bottles each.

They are also mould and stain resistant, hardwearing and washable, making them perfect for all your outdoor and indoor spaces, including kitchens and bathrooms.

Weaver Green have a container arriving next week with lots of beautiful new ranges of cushions, throws and table linen featuring French provincial duck egg blues, colourful checked patterns from southern India, and crisp monochrome designs to name a few.

Alongside these will be restocks of their most popular rugs as well as great Christmas gift ideas such as picnic blankets, beach throws, baskets and tableware.

Summer is just around the corner, and if you are dreaming of relaxing in style this season, then a visit to the Weaver Green showroom is a must.

Visit Weaver Green at Unit 5, 33 Gateway Drive, Noosaville. Showroom opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 12pm.
