Police charge trio over thefts

Noosa Heads police arrested and charged three people following a series of robberies in March which included a robbery at Tropicana Boulevard, Castaways Beach where a car was stolen and a theft at Nylana Way, Doonan.

Jayke Allan Clay, 20, of Woody Point was charged with multiple burglaries, four counts of trespassing, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and four counts of receiving tainted good. He was remanded in custody to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on 18 April.

Angus Barrett Haager, 20, of Coolum Beach was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of burglary and two drug charges. He was remanded in custody to appear in the Maroochydore Court on 18 April.

A 16 year girl from Eatons Hill was also charged.
