Rate Council in a survey

Market Facts marketing research consultants will be phoning 400 randomly selected Noosa residents over two weeks from Saturday 30 March in a survey to rate Noosa Council’s services and operations.

In the 2019 Community Benchmarking Survey on Community Satisfaction residents will be asked to answer questions on their opinions of council’s services, functions and facilities.

Mayor Tony Wellington said it was important to get a warts and all view on how council operates.

“We certainly value the opportunity to discover how a cross-section of the community perceive Council’s performance,” he said.

Executive Services director Debra Iezzi said reviewing council’s operations and service delivery remained good business practice.

“This council has a strong focus on meeting the community’s expectations and so the opinions of local residents are important, “she said.

The survey covers a range of services, including waste collection, road maintenance, operation of facilities, planning, environmental protection and our parks and playgrounds.
