Together with the help and support of the community, Noosa Civic’s recent Haven campaign raised a total of $2,152 for The Waves of Wellness Foundation (WOW).
These funds will assist in helping WOW facilitate their range of innovative programs in surf therapy to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
WOW is expanding programs nationally, addressing the need for innovative solutions in the mental health space. WOW have currently run 35 programs, directly impacting the lives of over 350 people through specialised surf therapy programs. The next 12 months will see the charity expand to three states around Australia.
Close to 500 people from the community donated and took part in Noosa Civic’s Haven workshops over the month of April in Centre.
