Noosa Gift Co grow trees and business

To wrap up small business month, Noosa Gift Co are celebrating their support from 81 local small businesses and have teamed up with Noosa Landcare to give back to the community.

Director Sue-Ellen Knox said business was starting to pick up again after a few quiet months due to the cost of living among other things.

“We are getting large enquiry and a lot of business from conference organisers coming to Noosa from New Zealand, the southern states, and our local hotels are also supporting us by recommending our services,“ Sue said.

“We have recently teamed up with Noosa Landcare to give back to the community and donate to the work they are doing with Tourism Noosa’s, Trees for Tourism program to plant trees for our local koala and wildlife population.“

The local business owner said each of their customer’s purchases will now contribute to this wonderful work of planting trees.

“Myself and my daughter recently attended a tree planting day with Tread Lightly Noosa,“ Sue said.

“Each gift purchased will now include a postcard with an image captured by local photographer Tracy Naughton and information about our new association with this wonderful initiative.

“As always, our gifts are packed in our eco luxe parcelling with exclusively designed packaging by Cass Dellar Designs. We are working towards becoming the 100 per cent recyclable grifter as we work with some of our current suppliers on tweaking their packaging to fit this criteria.“
